However you choose to pronounce this tasty little red fruit we can all agree that the specimens below are mighty fine. Acquired from the also mighty fine fish boutique Pescheria Mattiucci in Notting Hill, they are almost too beautiful to touch. Almost too beautiful to touch. I can promise they are just as juicy as they look.

Pescheria Mattiucci, while we’re on the subject, serve and sell fantastically fresh fish. With smooth sashimi, a lot of Italian gastronomy passion and locally sourced ingredients (from the Mattiucci’s native Naples) it’s definitely worth a visit. Just don’t go on and expect a bargain, because they’re not cheap. But if you want to eat or buy the best Mediterranean fish around, I’ve just opened Sesame for you.
